Tras una larga espera, 'John Wick 4' llegará a los cines el 24 de marzo de 2023. Antes algunos críticos y fans han tenido la oportunidad de ver las primeras proyecciones de la película, expresando después sus primeras impresiones en las redes sociales.
Desde webs como Collider nos alertan de que "no estamos preparados para lo que vamos a ver", y describen la película como "un festival de asesinatos sangrientos lleno de acción". Otras críticas hablan de una película gloriosa, pura adrenalina y lo mejor de la serie.
Por otro lado, si bien su tiempo de ejecución de casi 3 horas es ciertamente intimidante, muchos dicen que el thriller de acción gana a cada minuto. La cuarta película de la franquicia tampoco decepciona en términos de acción y son muchos los críticos que destacan las increíbles secuencias de lucha. También abundan los elogios hacia el elenco liderado por Keanu Reeves.
Dirigida por Chad Stahelski, en esta ocasión John Wick (Reeves) descubre un camino para derrotar a la Alta Mesa. Pero para poder ganar su libertad, Wick deberá enfrentarse a un nuevo rival con poderosas alianzas en todo el mundo, capaz de convertir a viejos amigos en enemigos. Lawrence Fishburne, Lance Reddick e Ian McShane repiten en un reparto que también incluye a Scott Adkins, Donnie Yen, Clancy Brown y Marko Zaror.
Respecto al futuro de la franquicia, 'John Wick 4' es solo uno de los muchos proyectos ambientados en este universo lleno de acción. Próximamente también tendremos 'Ballerina', spin-off protagonizado por Ana de Armas en el que Reeves y McShane interpretarán personajes secundarios. Además, este mismo año llegará la serie limitada 'The Continental', ambientada en el mismo universo.
